The EB-5 visa classification program enables qualified foreign investors, their spouses and unmarried children under the age of 21 to become permanent residents of the United States with the option to become full citizens after five years. Our team has worked with families to successfully obtain E-2 Treaty Investors status, guiding them through the qualifications and application process. To obtain E-2 classification, clients must be a citizen of a country in a commerce and navigation treaty with the U.S., invest a certain amount into a U.S. located business enterprise and wish to be in the U.S. to invest in and direct the enterprise. This visa allows individuals to stay in the United States for up to two years, with the possibility of 2 year extensions granted indefinitely.

COX Capital Group also has experience advising families on L-1 Intra company Transferee Executive or Manager visa classifications. This visa allows a U.S. employer to bring an executive or manager from a foreign office to a U.S. office. The L-1 process includes establishing a qualifying relationship between the employer and the foreign company, as well as clarifying the nature of the business between the two. The L-1 visa enables an initial stay of one year with extensions of up to two years. There is a maximum limit of seven years.
